Pro Member Update

Hi 
Thanks for responding.  Just to let you know, I’ve been working hard to make improvements and enhancements to all four of our sites:  Giant Profit Ads, Mad Cow Ads, Global Connections Ads, and Empire Text Ads.
The first major change is alignment of member and ad pricing for all four safelists.  Why do I have four safelists?  Easy — just think of these as puppies:  I have “rescued” some that were floundering, they came with a history and some stigmas, they all have room for improvement, and some had some very bad habits that had to be broken, and given some training.
Enough with the Bad Dog rescue scenario… 
These safelists have many GREAT things going for them.  Each have unique features and options, an inherent base of members (good and bad), different Super Network connections, and different rewards, and different ad types.  This is GREAT news.  Why?
  • The annual membership fee is now low enough that members can join MULTIPLE sites.
  • Membership and Ad pricing is at EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE rates.
  • Referrals are the lifeblood of any program, and we want to ENCOURAGE not only recruiting but UPGRADES to PAID MEMBERSHIPS.
  • The Super Network connections greatly expand the ADVERTISING REACH for our members.
  • The Super Network connections address multiple geographic and demographic profiles, again a wider reach.
  • The implementation of Cheat Controls forces people to actually SEE the ads and discourage Point Scrapers
Why not have all the Super Network connections on all four safelists?  The easy answer is COST.   I own GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads.  I pay for Super Network partnerships OUT OF MY POCKET every month on behalf of our members.  
I also pay for hosting, and Ad Co-Ops to increase traffic on Giant Profit Ads and Mad Cow Ads.  This is a business.  For two years, I have been paying several hundred dollars per month to maintain these safelists with virtually NO revenue. 
I found a way to add additional functionality and competitive advantages to our ADVERTISING COMMUNITY without killing my budget.  How?  I RENT both Global Connections Ads and Empire Text Ads.  For one monthly rental fee, I get hosting PLUS all the Super Network connections as part of that rental.  All the newest features are in these scripts, and I can now afford to lower ad prices, lower membership fees, and offer some great OTO’s and Login Offers.
The situation here, though is no different than other Safelist owners are experiencing.  I do network with other TAE owners through forums and newsletters, the quorum states that these characteristics are much the same with them.
  • Most free members are along for the free ride, they do not contribute ANYTHING of value to the Advertising Community, they NEVER purchase ads, they do not bring in referrals.
  • Most PAID members have been inherited as LIFETIME members, and THEY have not contributed any revenue other than their initial (low) lifetime membership fee.  (And, NOT TO MY REVENUE STREAM).  They are little more than free members WITH PRIVILEGES.
  • Many users employ Point Scrapers – automated Ad Bots that open the credit emails simply for the purpose STEALING AD CREDITS.   Our members submit ads with the presumption that a percentage of their ads are being OPENED, and VIEWED by HUMANS, when in fact, very few of their ads are being seen at all.
  • Despite all of the incentives, most members are not logging on with any regularity
  • Members do not understand the importance, and VALUE of referrals both to the advertising community, and to their budgets.
So, despite the highly competitive business we are in, owners recognize the challenges we face in making the Safelist business work:
  • How to make it AFFORDABLE for people to join as PAID members.
  • How to keep a fresh revenue stream so premium features and networks can be provided.
  • How to create incentives for people to join, and login.
  • How to create a consistent and predictable flow of NEW REFERRALS to grow our membership, provide a continuous changing audience for your ads, and provide rewards and commissions for those PAID members who are actively recruiting. 
So, I am doing MY part to face these challenges, and ADDING VALUE to a membership with me in hopes that FREE members will convert to PAID members, become an ACTIVE MEMBER of our ADVERTISING COMMUNITY, and will reap the rewards of respecting this as a BUSINESS in which we BOTH can prosper.
Now, some of my contribution…
 
I’ve found that it is useful to remind the subscribers of my safelists to do some basic account cleanup.  If you are like me, you could have hundreds of safelists and traffic exchanges, and for sheer volume alone, this could be a daunting task.  But everyone should be tracking their promotions, and determine the most effective/least effective sites.
I like to think that my four safelists have the features, traffic, and personal touch in day to day operations that you simply do not get with the hundreds of solicitations you receive, and are “enablers”.  They offer connections to many different SOLO Ad Super networks, which extends our subsribers’ advertising reach to over 100,000 double-opt-in members.  All Supernetwork ads are offered at the MINIMUM ALLOWABLE PRICE.  
I take a unique approach for One Time Offers and Login Offers.   It is ridiculous to think that 15 seconds after someone joins a safelist or traffic exchange that they would have enough information to determine whether a One Time Offer (OTO) or Login offer is worthwhile.  They simply have not had time to evaluate that high pressure offer and analyze whether this new system they just joined meets their expectations and delivers on promises.  For that reason, we allow access to the Second Chance OTO and Login Offers right from our member’s menu to check out AFTER they begin using our systems.

Just in case you haven’t done much “maintenance” on your ads and features available to you on GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads, here are some things you want to check.

1 Protect Your Links.

Most of our members are not taking advantage of this Viral Traffic secret, which is available free to all members:  Pro is allowed 50 links, JV is allocated 100 links, and SuperJV members get 250 links as part of your membership.

You WANT to use this!  Why?  It puts your REFERRAL ID out there in the ad bar of every one of your ads that comes up in the rotation. If someone clicks that link and joins, you get the REFERRAL CREDIT, and so much more (including CASH if your referral upgrades or purchases ads).

My Bad:  I hadn’t checked Protect Your Links on my own accounts for awhile, and I found that I had some bad URL’s, or projects in which I was no longer participating.  

2. Check Banners, Buttons

 Be sure the banner displays properly.  Click the banner to test the URL.  For those expired buttons or banners, you can purchase (or trade credits for) blocks of 1000 views, and then apply it to an existing banner.

3. Hot Links, and Traffic Links.

Click the link to test the URL.  For those expired links, you can purchase (or trade credits for) blocks of  views, and then apply it to an existing link.

4. Downline Builder

There are two important things here: You get to define 3 of YOUR websites, and you get the opportunity to fill in YOUR REFERRAL ID for that site after you join.  New sites are being added all the time, so you should check back, and update the Downline Builder so YOUR REFERRALS can join using YOUR REFERRAL LINK.

5. Review your advertising strategy.

a). Your objective on safelists and traffic exchanges should be to BUILD YOUR LIST not to “sell stuff”.  Once they are on your list, then you periodically make offers, but NURTURE your list, provide them with INFORMATION and VALUE and don’t beat them to death with promotion after promotion.

b). Banner Ads ARE AN EFFECTIVE MEDIUM! 

c). This is a SURF SITE in additon to a Safelist.  You can define YOUR surf ads and get great point rewards for reviewing Surf Sites posted by other members.

d). Admin Ads are rewarded with high point values!

e). Promote the One Time Offers and Login Offers to your downline, and externally.  Why?  You get rewards for getting referrals to sign up here, points EVERY TIME THEY LOG IN, points for every ad they surf or click, and COMMISSIONS for every purchase made by your downline.  

  • You can send to your downline ONCE A WEEK 
  • Use your SPLASH PAGES on safelists and text exchanges – they load faster.  You have THREE SECONDS before the average surfer gets distracted.  Using a slow-loading page may lose the opportunity.

f). Encourage your downlines to:

  • Log in DAILY (you get points)
  • Click the Daily Bonus and Login Bonus
  • SURF (you get points)
  • READ ADS FOR CREDIT (you get points)
  • POST ADS HERE (you get points when they trade points for ads)
  • Purchase Ads Here (you get COMMISSIONS from the sale)
  • PURCHASE NETWORK ADS  ($$)

WHY?  This gets YOU credits for any credits earned by your downline, and COMMISSIONS from upgrades and the sale of ads purchased by your downline! 

g). For every 10 ads you place for other projects on this and other safelists an traffic exchanges, you should be promoting GiantProfitAds so you can BUILD YOUR DOWNLINE THROUGH REFERRALS.  

 

  • You are rewarded HANSOMELY for referrals that upgrade to be paid members.
  • It is an opportunity to build your list
  • It is an opportunity to earn CASH for any upgrades or ad purchases by your referrals
  • Referrals mean new eyes on your ads, more opportunities for referrals in Downline Builder.
