How Commission Eligibility Works[br]
  • Even free members get a 20% of the NUMBER of commissions![br]
 
The way this works for Free Members:[br]
  • The Admin gets the first 4 sales passed up – whatever the value![br]
The Free member gets 1 sale. (20%)[br]
 
Likewise for all other levels:[br]
  • Admin gets 2 sales, Silver gets 1 sale (33%)
  • Admin gets 1 sale, Gold gets 1 sale (50%)
  • Admin gets 1 sale, Platinum Gets 3 sales (75%)
  • Admin gets 0 sales, Founder gets ALL (100%)
 
Since it is the NUMBER and ORDER of sales, if it is your turn in the rotation, you receive the complete value of the sale.[br]
 
Scenario:  
Assume you get your first sale – a referral, free member, upgrades to all the way to FOUNDING MEMBER.  (The following prices are for illustration and may not match the current pricing for this site).[br]
  • Since the referral did not take advantage of the OTO, the first upgrade to be offered would be SILVER $24.95.  Admin gets that.
  • The next upgrade offered would be GOLD $61.  Admin gets that
  • The next upgrade offered would be PLATINUM $197.  Admin gets that.
  • The next upgrade offered would be FOUNDER $397.  Admin gets that.
  •  Another member upgrades to SILVER $24.95.  YOU GET THAT!

If you would have had a sale before this (a one time upgrade or ad purchase) then YOU would have been eligible to receive that $24.95 payment![br]

So as a free member you have a 20% CHANCE of receiving a commission, not 20% of the commission value.[br]

The higher your membership level, the better your chances of receiving a commission.[br]

The thing is, you are not notified of MISSED COMMISSIONS so you really cannot  build a viable business plan[br]

Your best value is FOUNDER who receives ALL commissions (even the admin share).  There are only ever FIFTY FOUNDERS level slots!  Since these are LIFETIME MEMBERSHIPS, unless someone cancels an account, after the 50th Founders member, this door is closed forever.[br]

Next best is Platinum where Admin gets 1 sale, and the next 3 go to the  Platinum member[br]

The lowest recommended level is GOLD, where you get EVERY OTHER SALE.[br]

Then Silver is a step up from the free member: Admin gets 2, you get 1[br]

If you DO get a commission, I recommend you REINVEST back into YOUR business by purchasing an upgrade.[br]

Initial Ad Packages.[br]

Naturally, you will find the best deals by purchasing membership packages through an OTO.  Free members obviously have missed that opportunity.  It is hard to tell if an OTO is a great value.  If you know that a site offers a SECOND CHANCE OTO (like my sites, Giant Profit Ads and Mad Cow Ads), then you have a chance to look around and kick the tires before upgrading.  Otherwise, go on the REPUTATION of the system owner or your sponsor.   Here is a list of MY most trusted sites.[br]

I own Giant Profit Ads, Mad Cow Ads, WebcastSource.net, Commissions Unleashed, and Your Lucky Fast Cash.  The others on this list are either owned by my business partners or other Team Elite Inner Circle members.[br]

The next best opportunity for great ad packages would be Login Offers.  These change frequently so pay attention to login ads.[br]

Initial ad packages increase substantially at each higher level.[br]

Monthly Ad Packages[br]

Free members receive no monthly text ads, banners or solo ads.  All free credits must come from the Daily Bonus, and viewing onsite ads, email ads, and surfing.[br]

All paid members get a monthly allowance of ads and points.  The quantity and value are increasingly higher for each level.[br]

Trade Points for Ads[br]

All levels can trade points for onsite ads like banners, buttons, text links, headline ads, header ads, AdsPlus ads[br]

Trade Commissions for Points[br]

Since all members are required to have a Paypal account, commissions are not held.  They are paid immediately to that member’s Paypal account.  [br]

If a member does not have a Paypal account, all commissions are forwarded to the Admin and are forfeited.[br]

Members cannot trade commissions for points that can be exchanged for ads[br]

Earning Points[br]

Each higher membership level earns increasingly higher credits for viewing onsite, email, and surfing ads.   The more credits you EARN, the more ads that can be traded for credits.[br]

Points can be earned by clicking the Daily Bonus button and viewing one ad. This is a random value[br]

You earn points every time your direct referrals log in.[br]

Each member receives a PERCENTAGE of points earned by direct referrals.[br]

Purchased Ads[br]

Solo Ads (to the member’s CONTACT Email ID) cannot be obtained by trading credits.  [br]

This is important:  Solo ads and any other on-site ad purchases are ELIGIBLE FOR COMMISSIONS!  Any time your direct referrals make an ad purchase (excluding SuperSolos), you earn commissions per your eligibility rotation.[br]

Best Ad Values[br]

Credit Mail (or System Mail) allows you to send Email ads to RANDOM members.  The mailing interval is shorter for each higher level membership, the number of members you can mail, and the number of EXTRA members you can mail by adding points also varies by level.  Cheapest but not nearly as effective as other choices below.[br]

Because you are looking for the best “bang for your buck”, here is my preference (supported by my own tracking data) and follows my eBook, “A Traffic Strategy”:[br]

Traffic Co-ops ($$$$) – your ad is put in a rotation for a commercial traffic buy.[br]

Paid Solo Ads ($$$) – TopSurfer, Guaranteed Mails, Udimi[br]

SuperNetwork Solos ($$) – send to tens of thousands of Safelist members[br]

Safelist Solos ($) – member solo ads – to Contact Email ID of all members

‘Tis the Season but FREE is NOT FREE.

An OpEd Piece that Outlines Solutions[br]

One of the frustrations as an admin is that 85% of the people who sign up for a site have NO INTENTION of spending ONE DIME with you.  They want to grab everything free, take all the bonuses and free points, and when they are used up you never see them again.[br]

It’s easy to find them:

  • Beyond the first day or so, they NEVER login
  • By comparing login/logoff time, they spend a minimal amount of time on your site.
  • They do not VIEW ADS for the advertising value and opportunities: they only want to grab the points so they can post THEIR ads.
  • They use robots or point skimmers.
  • They post LOW VALUE products or services
  • By their ads, they know very little about the products or services.
  • They do not USE WHAT THEY SELL – simply affiliate marketers trying to make a buck FOR FREE

Pretzel logic in play:  If you are advertising on a safelist with mostly free members:[br]

  • what are your chances of actually getting someone to OPEN your email or VIEW your ad??
  • what are your chances of  getting someone INTERESTED in your product, especially having only ONE EXPOSURE to the product, service, or concept you are working with?
  • what are your chances of someone making a purchase?

Now, what If I were to present a different business model to you.  Ideally:[br]

Free membership is only good for 30 days.  After that, you either upgrade or terminate.[br]

Offer Lifetime PAID memberships that get paid COMMISSIONS but a portion of the revenue must be SPENT at that membership site.[br]

Let’s compare this to the Country Club business model.[br]

There would be a minimum monthly spending requirement for ADVERTISING.[br]

  • In the country club business model they don’t care if you pay green fees, rent a golf cart, buy clothing in the Pro Shop, or eat dinner there twice per month, as long as you make that spending minimum.

This would be the collapse of Safelists as we know them.[br]

BUT…[br]

  • Your market would be a market of people who KNOW the value of GOOD ADVERTISING.
  • Your ads would be going to a BUYERS market
  • The quality of the products and services would be ELEVATED
  • People would KNOW THAT THERE IS AN EXPECTATION THAT THEY MUST INVEST IN THEIR BUSINESS, and keep the free-market economy ACTIVE.

OK.  Now back to a “modified reality”.[br]

  • I know this message will not be opened by the majority of my subscribers.  Most of them fall into the “freeloader” category anyway, so I would not expect them to comprehend much beyond the next freebie.  
  • They do not understand that you must INVEST IN YOUR BUSINESS and INVEST IN YOURSELF to start a successful business.
  • They do not have what it takes to be an entrepreneur and they waste the time, and resources of those of use WHO DO.

Safelists do not have to be labored with this stigma like an albatross.[br]

I own several other safelists that are using a different model.  [br]

  • It is a platform where you DO have the opportunity to start out for free, but it is not a charity model.  
  • It is a business model that PAYS INSTANT COMMISSIONS: the higher the membership level, the higher the commission, up to Founders level (only 50 allowed by charter) who earn 150% commissions!  100% of sales + the Admin share!
  • You are expected to PROMOTE this site to get REFERRALS.   Referrals are HOW YOU GET PAID.  Ad purchases and upgrades BY YOUR REFERRALS are HOW YOU GET PAID.  YOU do not want freeloaders and tire kickers!
  • You are expected to ADVANCE THROUGH THE BUSINESS.  
  • As you are earning commissions, you REINVEST some of those earnings in YOURSELF with upgrades that get you higher INSTANT COMMISSIONS.
  • You purchase PREMIUM ADVERTISING from THIS SITE, and you continue to promote THIS SITE at other similar sites that are using this SAME BUSINESS MODEL.  
  • You promote OTHER SITES HERE that map to THIS SAME BUSINESS MODEL.

 And the world of SUCCESSFUL MARKETING AND PROFITS goes round and round.[br]

What I Am Saying[br]

I am not asking you to JOIN A SAFELIST FOR FREE OR SIMPLY COLLECT FREEBIES AND MOVE ON.  The free items offered are to HELP YOU GET STARTED.  By accepting those INCENTIVES and GIFTS, you are ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS BUSINESS MODEL.[br]

Don’t Have Anything to Promote?

You are just getting started, learning about network marketing, you don’t have tons of money, and you don’t have anything to promote.  At least you don’t realize that you don’t have anything to promote, but there is more to promote than you realize.
One of the best values I have found is to provide your prospects with a good place to advertise that is within their budget, and provides quality traffic. 
Sure, you can market Clickbank products, or another affiliate offer, but even with these, you will never get a sale without traffic.
Safelists are a great place to advertise.  Most have a startup Ad Package, usually through a Promo Code, that allows even free members to get started, then graduate to upgraded membership positions, and consider paid advertising through SuperNetworks. 
You just defined your Product to Promote: TRAFFIC
You just defined your TARGET AUDIENCE.  Network Marketers who need traffic to promote THEIR programs.
You also just defined the business you are in…
  • If you say selling memberships to safelists, or selling traffic, you are WRONG. In fact, you are NOT SELLING ANYTHING!
  • If you are doing network marketing, the ONLY thing you are doing on safelists and traffic exchanges is BUILDING YOUR LIST!
Once you have prospects ON YOUR LIST, then, and only then, can you SELL to them,  but it is not that easy.  You first have to gain their trust, let them get to know you, and give them something THEY care about.  In this case, it is most likely information about your product or service which happens to be TRAFFIC (looking beyond just a safelist membership).  You always have to consider the WIIFM (What’s In It For Me) from that prospect’s perspective.  It takes between 7 and 11 EXPOSURES to a product, service, or concept for a prospect to “GET IT”.   This is where a carefully crafted AUTORESPONDER CAMPAIGN comes into play.
There are still some things missing though: let’s get the complete picture of your sales funnel.
Here’s is how that would go.
  1. You need AD COPY to attract prospects to click on a link that takes them to a LANDING PAGE
  2. You need a LANDING PAGE to capture their name, email address, and other information (like phone number, address, etc. depending on the product or service.
  3. You need an AUTORESPONDER system that automatically takes care of sending messages to prospects on your list.
  4. You need to define AUTORESPONDER MESSAGES (in the form of email newsletters) that provide the necessary information and exposure
  5. You need an affiliate ID that redirects those prospects to the sales page or sign-up page.
  6. You need a follow-up strategy that may include a personalized follow-up email or phone call welcoming them to your newsletter
Let’s Put It All Together, starting with the PRODUCT
I own three safelists, and have fantastic bonus packages just to join, and also to upgrade.  You need to be a member to promote as an affiliate, and these sites offer three different membership levels:  Free, JV, and SuperJV (SJV).  To get the most benefit from your product, you can start out at the FREE level, but you will want to upgrade to optimize the benefits YOU get from bringing referrals onboard.
Lifetime memberships at Giant Profit Ads and Mad Cow Ads are only $67 for JV, or $97 for SJV each site.  I recommend going for the highest membership level you can afford because the upgrade bonus packages are tremendous, and paid members get a nice monthly allocation of ads and points.  Upgraded members also get higher point values for viewing ads, and huge benefits for bringing in referrals.
Giant Profit Ads and Mad Cow Ads have SuperNetwork ads that can be purchased through the  Advertise Here page that are the lowest allowable prices on the internet.  SuperNetwork Ads extend your reach to dozens of other partner safelist sites that have tens of thousands of members.  This is the best value to reach thousands of opt-in members.

Next Steps (beyond the scope of this post)
  • In TEHB, in Affiliate Programs, update your affiliate IDs for Giant Profit Ads, Mad Cow Ads, and WebcastSource.net (at the bottom of the list)
  • In TEHB, in Capture Pages, click Settings, then Manage Contacts Groups and add groups GiantProfitAds, MadCowAds, and WebcastSource-net
  • Create the Capture Page for each safelist.  Set the Contact Group to the corresponding Contact Group you just created with APPEND, and the redirect URL set to your affiliate ID for the corresponding site.    Save it, then in My Capture Pages click the thumbnail and grab the URL (you will need this for the link in your ad copy).
Test, Test, Test
  • Be sure your funnel works properly:
  • Click the link in your ad.  It should take you to your Capture Page.  
  • You should get the opt-in message in your email so confirm.  
  • You should be redirected to the safelist site.
  • You should get a confirmation email announcing you have a new opt-in subscriber.

Exchange Credits

The correct term for this would be Exchange VISITOR Credits.   You can have up to 25 websites defined in your Exchange site.  To activate the display of that website, YOU assign VISITOR CREDITS.  When you run out of VISITOR Credits, your website is PAUSED.   The way to activate a paused website is simply to ASSIGN VISITOR CREDITS.
To earn Exchange Credits click the SURF TO EARN CREDITS link – depending on your membership level, for every ad you view and satisfy the countdown timer, you are awarded the specified number of credits.
  • Your site will only be seen when you get credits for viewing other websites.
  • Just looking at the gallery of sites on one page will get you 9 viewing credits which can be used to start your traffic immediately.
  • If you click on sites you get click credits which are more valuable than viewing credits. 
The Mega PLR Store
This is a fully functional eCommerce site stocked with over 200 first quality items. 
 
All membership levels have access to purchase eBooks and courses at the Webcast Source Super Store, but that would be foolish for PAID MEMBERS since Pro or Lifetime members have a link called Free Webcast Source Vault Products where they can download these items for their own use, they can give them away as incentives to get signups, or they can SELL THEM.  
When a paid member signs up a referral, the link to Webcast Source Super Store is coded to their UPLINE’s Mega PLR Store!  If any of your referrals purchases an item from the Mega PLR Store, the SPONSOR (or Upline) is credited with the amount of the sale.
