Safelists: What are they and how to use them effectively to build traffic, leads, sales

First off let me explain what a Safelist is and how they work for those of you who don’t know then I will discuss their effectiveness for generating site traffic.

A Safelist is an email list that you can join for free, and in return for joining you are permitted to email out to the entire list of members. Most safelist providers limit the number of times you can email to the list. Some safelist providers will allow you to email to the list more often if you upgrade to a paid membership.

We have found that the best safelists are those that work on a credit based system. Credit based safelists are fair for everyone as you have to earn credits in order to email to the list of members. The way to earn credits is to click on links when emails are sent out.

Safelists require members to join and agree to receive email and in this way they conform to anti-spam regulations.

The fact that most Safelists are free to join and use is an advantage for anyone on a tight advertising budget.

Now to answer the question, do Safelists work? YES! We can tell you with 100% certainty that Safelists DO work. We use them, and we recommend them to our members as an effective, easy, low cost traffic generation tool.

NOTE: There are some things that will definitely INCREASE your effectiveness in getting results when you use Safelists, so listen up.

Here is what you need to know to get the best results from Safelist postings

1. Make sure what you are sending to the Safelist is motivating, includes an offer and reasons to respond NOW! You will get the BEST response if you include something for free or limit the availability of the offer. Example, do this by X date and you will get this X free!

2. If you have a dud ad or offer that does not yield a response, change it up, strengthen it, reword, add value, change your offer but do something to make it more compelling to the reader.

3. Mail to your Safelist when your target audience is AWAKE! If you are in the UK and
targeting the USA with your Safelist offer be sure to send the mailing when your audience is up and at their computer ready and able to respond to your offer. Early mornings and later in the evening is when you want people to receive your posting.

4. Make sure your Safelist mailing includes a way to capture lead information, your readers may not buy what you are offering today, but if you can encourage them to provide their contact information you have a valuable lead for future offers.

5. Landing Pages are VERY effective for safelist posts. Landing pages are a fast loading, eye-popping single page that usually includes an offer, and a lead capture form. If you can, also include a video player to get people’s attention. Give people lots of reasons to read your ad and respond to your ad NOW!

1. Get to know Worldprofit and what we offer by spending some time in your Member area and clicking on links and reading. You will be better able to promote what you understand and better able to profit if you know all the tools and resources you have at your finger tips. 2. Join Worldprofit’s Social Networking Community and get to know other community members. Use the link in your Member area or go to: http://community.worldprofit.com

3. As soon as you get confirmation that your Silver or Platinum VIP Membership is set up, login to your DEALER Member area and start the online Bootcamp Training. Go at your own pace, watch the training videos and follow the online instructions. Bootcamp shows you how to use the Worldprofit System to profit online.

Are you a Stinky Fish or a Beautiful Flower?

Have you ever had something go rotten in your fridge? Fish is the worst! Ever notice that no one wants to go near the stinking offender! Someone eventually holds their nose, picks it up with 2 fingers, holds it far out then hastily closes it up in the trash. They want to get as far away from that stinking fish as they can!

Have you ever known some people like that? There seems to be something rotten about their attitude No one wants to go near them because they are offensive, rude, hostile or just plain unpleasant to be with. These people give off negative vibes, you don’t feel good being around them and you don’t want to be. They are a stinky fish.

Now think about the people in your life that you like to be around. Notice that they are often cheerful, friendly, upbeat and you feel good being around them. They have an attitude and energy that is positive. People are attracted to them. People lean into listen to someone that they feel good about. It’s similar to leaning in to smell a beautiful flower, you anticipate good things. I never see anyone leaning in towards the rotten fish. Most of us would prefer to surround ourselves with beautiful flowers not dead stinking fish.

I have used this very strong analogy so you can think about how you interact with others. If you are trying to build an online home business and your attitude is negative you will have a hard time attracting prospects and making sales. Even in a home business you still communicate with people by email and by phone and your attitude always pokes through. If your attitude stinks so too will your sales.

Now go out today and be a beautiful flower. 😉

Time for a reality check.

I saw it again. A support ticket came in with the complaint. "I’ve been in your program for 8 days and haven’t made any money." We reviewed the account and noticed the customer had not started the Bootcamp Training. The Bootcamp Training is critical to profiting from the Worldprofit System. In this age of instant gratification, and get rich quick schemes, it may be time for a Reality Check.

ANY business, franchise, apprenticeship, coffee shop, hamburger stand, lemonade stand, education or prowess requires a period of training, some out of pocket expense and yes, good old fashioned effort.

Did Google reach it’s monster success in 10 days? How about 20 years and counting?

Do you really think those Affiliate marketer Super Gurus, the big guns, made the huge earnings they brag about in 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years?

Newsletter Mailer in your Silver or Platinum Package – are you using it?

Silver and Platinum VIP Members you have a Newsletter Mailer included in your package.

If you follow the steps of the Bootcamp Training you are taught how to mail out your newsletter to your subscribers.
We’ve provided you with dozens and dozens of newsletter templates already written that you can use to promote Worldprofit products and services and generate site traffic and leads. OR, you have the option to customize your own newsletters with your own wording and email out your OWN offers, products and services to promote whatever you like.

Aside from accessing the Newsletter through the bootcamp you can also access it on the LEFT hand menu of the Member area. Look for the link that says "Newsletter". If you then click on "Post Newsletter" you will be taken to the available newsletter templates and can select from a drop down menu.
There you can use the pre-written templates or create your own, instructions are included.

Sending your newsletter out 3-5 times a week with various offers, and wording is a powerful way to build site traffic, get your website name out there and generate leads! Effective marketing means putting your offer and information in front of people in various ways to get their attention and encourage a response.

Did you know?

The description above refers to only the NEWSETTER subscribers, found on the top blue menu under NEWSLETTER. There are TWO OTHER NEWSLETTER MAILERS in the Silver or Platinum Packages? These are separate from the Newsletter mailer and the custom newsletters are separate from the other custom newsletter content.
