I am a sponsor to literally thousands, and I offer my consulting and help for free. I would never get to eat or sleep if that many people took advantage of my offer.
I am now retired, but I was a professional business consultant for over 20 years. My clients ranged from ma-and- pop small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, government, and military.
Most small businesses or network marketers could not afford my hourly consulting fee, so I do not charge them for my advice and assistance.
I do get calls or emails, and immediately screen the freebie seekers from the people who might have potential and indicated that they may be serious. I am glad to help people willing to treat this like a BUSINESS, but my assistance does have limits.
No matter who contacts me for assistance, I share my resources. I do not charge for consulting, but I do set limits. I am not here to DO IT FOR YOU. I’m here to help, but it is YOUR BUSINESS. I will TEACH YOU but expect YOU to learn, and I expect YOU to do the work.
Because this is a BUSINESS, I too have to keep the lights burning.
When I share my resources, PLEASE clear your cookies and join UNDER ME AS YOUR SPONSOR. I don’t CHARGE but I DO expect people to occasionally make purchases of products and services in exchange for my help.
I have several “clients” who take up HOURS of my time. They are NEEDY and NEVER do any research or try anything themselves. They send me emails and texts as late as midnight, and send me dissertations about why they CANNOT do something, when they could have spent that time searching Google or Youtube videos (like I would have to do).
One particular client I have spent HOURS with, responding to literally dozens of emails, demonstrating with videos. I gave him MY affiliate IDs for so many programs and traffic sources. He had joined under me for ONE PROGRAM that paid residual commission of $5 per month. He quit after 2 months. I calculated that I spent over 30+ hours of coaching and advising over several months for a sum total of $10 in revenue.
The other day, he came to me complaining that I did not approve an upgrade that he purchased. After I spent an hour chasing this problem, I found out he signed up under SOMEONE ELSE (who got the $10 in sales revenue).
He was having trouble understanding the instructions for the product. Because he could not contact his sponsor, HE CALLED ME. The questions he asked showed that he did not even try to figure this out on his own, even after I GAVE him the step-by-step training videos I created.
Then he did the SAME THING for ANOTHER affiliate program I asked him to join. I discovered he signed up under SOMEONE ELSE then UPGRADED so the other sponsor got THAT ANNUAL REVENUE. He spent $100 but ANOTHER SPONSOR got the 40% commission, and yet he asked HIS SPONSOR (who is my friend) to call me and ask me to HELP HIM because “it was too difficult”.
This same client joined ANOTHER program (that I was no longer affiliated with), and wanted me to TEST HIS SIGNUP PAGES and join THAT program under him!
The moral of this story is that FREE is not FREE… EVER.
Just because I do not charge for consulting, you should realize that I spent DECADES developing my skills, and literally THOUSANDS of dollars LEARNING how to DO THIS RIGHT so I could SHARE my knowledge and experience.
The least you could do is SHOW SOME LOYALTY to ME, and make purchases so I CAN CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE TO YOU AND OTHERS.
