Q&A Why Can I Send to Only 70 members?

Q: I just came on board as a free member and was hoping to take your site for a spin. I have 500,000 credits and would like to do some credit mailers. The most I can do at one time is around 70. Do I have to upgrade in order to send out a reasonable test ?

A. The reason you cannot mail more than 70: that is the total membership of that site.

I have 11 sites right now, but have had many others that I  “rescued” or were “pre-loved” sites that the owners just didn’t know how to promote, operate, and develop them.

Why Join Smaller/Startup Sites

Smaller sites are a great opportunity to join while they are still “small” because they are primed for getting referrals. Post YOUR ads, and as more people join, you are way ahead in your promotions, meaning your ads will most likely be seen more often in the rotators.

On any of my sites, regardless of size, I build up the memberships, promote them with 2nd Chance OTOs and ridiculously low entry prices and upgrades, make them feature rich, they have large referral builders.

Just because a site only has 70 members does not mean that your ads are not being viewed. It is the ACTIVE members that count.

It’s ACTIVE Members That Count

I purchased a site that had almost 1000 members, but the owner let it go, and had no experience operating “systems”. When I looked at the login records, most of the members had not logged on at all in the previous year. The actual “active” member count was 135. Of those, all the traffic on that site was being generated by the 15% PAID members. I look at the percentage of PAID members on a site as a better indicator. I turned that site around, then unfortunately, the guy who provided my hosting just pulled the plug.

I have had sites that I bought or rented simply because they had SuperNetworks. As an owner, I get 2 to 4 SuperNetwork ads per month. I was paying $5 per month in rent. 4 SuperSolos per month for $5. And then, I turned those sites around, and sold them for a profit.

My Background

I spent 25 years in computer operations, system and network engineering for a Fortune 50 company. My team managed 900 servers, and had over 80,000 desktops we supported. I KNOW about managing systems.

My Advice

So, my advice is to join and take the cheap upgrades. I have 10 sites that have upgrades for $7 each, and 1 for $14 – LIFETIME memberships. All have outstanding ad packages and promo codes, and all are PRIMED for bringing in referrals.

The Bigger Picture

If you front-end these sites with a lead capture page, and autoresponder campaign, you not only have a great advertising venue that gives you MONTHLY ADS AND POINTS (free members don’t get that), but you would be on your way to BUILDING YOUR LIST, which is the lifeblood of network marketing.

Safelist Membership Levels

I forget at times that “newbies” may not be familiar with terms I take for granted.  I had someone submit a ticket asking about membership levels. [br]
 
There are several standard memberships available for every safelist “script” (the software that drives the safelist).  [br] [br]
 
I own safelists that have 3 different “scripts”.  The levels are: [br]
All paid membership levels on my sites are LIFETIME memberships except where noted. [br] [br]
The specific question was about JV and SJV.  At one time, “JV” and “JV Partner” were in fact designations for the financial model in business called a “Joint  Venture”.  In network marketing, it is simply a name applied by the programmers of the safelist scripts, and does not come close to the financial definition. [br] [br]
 
There is nothing “joint” about it.  On safelists, if you are lucky, about 5%-15% of the membership are PAYING MEMBERS.  The owners bear the brunt of all operating expenses.  Owners depend on premium ad sales (like Solo Ads or SuperNetwork ads), One Time Offers, and affiliate programs to generate revenue.  The majority of the membership joins for free, they never purchase anything, and ride for free.  Free is not Free.  It’s a business and should be generating revenue to sustain and grow like any other business.  Many members actually STEAL by using “point scrapers” or robots to harvest points so they can send THEIR ads.  The percentage of “shrinkage” is far greater than the shoplifting statistics for a store in your local mall. [br] [br]
When you consider that the majority of the membership does not even have a Paypal email defined in their profile, that sends a clear signal that they have NO INTENTION of upgrading or making purchases.  This is no different than walking into Dairy Queen, ordering an ice cream cone with full knowledge that you have no money in your wallet – there is a deliberate INTENT.  Even if that person tells the Dairy Queen attendant after the cone is prepared that they have no money, the business sustains a loss because that product or service (the ice cream, cone) must be SCRAPPED and the service WASTED. [br] [br]
The whole concept is flawed because the objective is to show your ads to like-minded individuals who will actually VIEW and PURCHASE products and services, and in turn YOUR ads will be VIEWED and purchases are made of YOUR products and services. [br] [br]
For that reason, I am considering two options: paid membership only, or limitation of free membership for a fixed time period like 7 days. [br] [br]

1. Login ads code was changed to pre-fill the form with HTML and limitations state 600×300 graphic ads only, no under- or over-sized ads and no text.
2. Contests will not be active during pre-launch except for testing.
3. Signups were not being credited properly in one of the OTO’s.  The code has been fixed but if there is someone who signed up under you that does not appear in My List, please submit a Support ticket.
4. Some splash page links were defaulting to the admin.   The faulty code was corrected.

Just to keep you informed of the activities and fixes.

1. Be sure to change the password and add your Paypal account to your profile.  Paypal is the only way you can get paid commissions.

2. A video intro and overview has been added to your member page.

3. Even free members can earn commissions – 20%.  Check out the 150% commission video on your member page.

4. The navigation menu was re-organized based on some member feedback we got.

5. Splash Page #4 was added – our graphics artist has done a GREAT JOB!

Thanks for your patience.  In pre-launch – sometimes it feels like we are bolting the wings on in mid-flight.

This site has unofficially been online for 3 days, and we have grown to:

So a Free member “passes up” 4 sales before seeing ANY commission, even though that Free member is paid directly to Paypal for sale # 5, regardless of the amount!

Can you see WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO UPGRADE TO AT LEAST GOLD? 50%-50% – you would get EVERY OTHER SALE REGARDLESS OF AMOUNT!

Reminder about Graphic Ad Sizes

There are only 3 graphic sizes accepted on GiantProfitAds, Mad-Cow-Ads, and EmpireTextAds:

Banners 468×60

Buttons 125×125

Login Ads 600×300

 

If you do not have the correct size graphic for your ad, you may want to view the tutorials on my video blog:

I am willing to help with graphic resizing: it may not be perfect but it may hold you over until the project admin posts the right size.  Submit a support ticket and let me know what you are looking for.

 If you need perfect you may want to try Fiverr.  I’ve seen some pretty nice work, cheap, and fairly quick turnaround.

You may want to tell others: other admins do not do this for their members.  We are building an Advertising Community and not just a safelist.  

 

Use your referral link to get up to 1/2 million points per referral plus points whenever your referrals log in, a percentage of their points your referrals earn, and a percentage in cash of any ad purchases they make. You also have the opportunity to email your downline with YOUR offers.

Multiple and Duplicate IDs

My security software scan has identified these two ID’s as belonging to the same person, with two different email ID’s and two different IP addresses but the first and last name, and passwords are identical

Having more than one account is a violation of the TOS, and unless a reasonable explanation can be submitted on a support ticket within 24 hours, both accounts will be terminated and any membership requests from both IP addresses will be banned from rejoining again as a free member.

We take this very seriously, especially since you are getting the benefit of free membership, free ads, free use of our facilities and discounted prices for Solo Network Ads.  Since I am footing the bill for maintaining these systems, partnerships in Solo Ad Networks, and granting free ads, this is essentially theft of services.  Your abuse of the free memberships means that your membership as a free member will be banned.

You are welcome to cancel one ID within 24 hours and upgrade the remaining ID to a probationary paid JV membership, which costs $3 USD per month.   The probation period is for 3 months.  If no other violations are observed on any of the affiliated sites within that probationary period, you will be permitted to remain a paid member.

Your response is required within 24 hours.

Paypal has some pretty strict guidelines and policies for use.  To comply with those policies, and to protect the ability of the administrators to continue making payments to our membership using Paypal, the following changes are in effect immediately.

Please note the following changes to the commission payment policy for GiantProfitAds, Mad-Cow-Ads, and EmpireTextAds effective 5/24/2014:

  • Members with no PayPal email address entered in their profile will not be paid.
  • Paypal is the only payment method supported at this time.
  • There is a $5.00 minimum for Paypal payments.  
  • Commission Payments are treated as payments for goods/services and the recipient may be liable for the appropriate Paypal fees. 
  • Requests for payment must be submitted on a support ticket.
  • Requested payments will be made once per week.

Bounced eMails – ACTION REQUIRED

 
Just a reminder:  GMAIL is the recommended eMail system because it has the fewest incidents of “bounce” and has proven reliability for the activities associated with Safelists and Internet Marketing.  GMAIL is FREE.

There are many users who have ignored THE REQUIREMENT TO USE GMAIL for their primary contact email.  Consequently, I have been forced to delete many accounts at GiantProfitAds, Mad-Cow-Ads, and EmpireTextAds.

Using other mail systems like Yahoo, AOL, Comcast, and Hotmail has debilitating effects, not only to the mailer functions of the safelist itself, but also to my own email addresses used for notifications of administrative issues that require my attention. 

If you are using ANYTHING BUT GMAIL:

  • Go to  https://support.google.com/mail/answer/56256?hl=en and create a GMAIL Account
  • Login to each safelist (GiantProfiAds.com, Mad-Cow-Ads.com and EmpireTextAds.info)
  • Select Edit My Details at the bottom of the NAV bar on the left side of the screen.
  • Update your email address on the profile page
  • Click the SAVE button.

You’re done!

WARNING:

Accounts that bounce WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT NOTICE.  

You will be able to create a new account immediately but DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT A GMAIL EMAIL ACCOUNT!!! 

PayPal

The ONLY way to get paid commissions and prizes is by using Paypal.  If you do not have a Paypal account, Sign Up for FREE at Paypal.com

 Graphic Images

The integrity of the ad rotator requires that the maximum dimensions for graphic images should be:

  • Banner Ads – 468×60
  • Button Ads – 125×125
  • Login Ads – 600×300

Ads that exceed these limits will be denied and your account will be credited with the points.  If you need assistance with an ad graphic, submit your issue on a support ticket.

Your current password does not meet the minimum security criteria of the system security scanner.  The security software has automatically changed your password to: 1rr39R71
 
Your password cannot be a sequential incremental number or letter (1234567 or abcdefg), and it cannot be your userid.  I recommend including upper and lower case with at least one number.
