A secret to getting more views to your site

Are the solo ads from your TAE being seen?  Are your OPEN rates and CTRs low?
Look at your “from” address for your TAE
Every once in a while, change your FROM email address.
Many times, messages are filtered, end up in spam folders, or simply ignored

Check Each of Your Safelists

Just in case you haven’t done much “maintenance” on your ads and features available to you on your safelists, like GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads, here are some things you want to check.  It is a good practice to check each of your safelists once every three months at least.

1 Protect Your Links.

Most of our members are not taking advantage of this Viral Traffic secret, which is available free to all members:

  • Pro is allowed 50 links,
  • JV is allocated 100 links, and
  • SuperJV members get 250 links as part of your membership.

You WANT to use this! Why? It puts your REFERRAL ID out there in the ad bar of every one of your ads that comes up in the rotation. If someone clicks that link and joins, you get the REFERRAL CREDIT, and so much more (including CASH if your referral upgrades or purchases ads).
My Bad: I hadn’t checked Protect Your Links on my own accounts for awhile, and I found that I had some bad URL’s, or projects in which I was no longer participating.

2. Check Banners, Buttons

Be sure the banner displays properly. Click the banner to test the URL. For those expired buttons or banners, you can purchase (or trade credits for) blocks of 1000 views, and then apply it to an existing banner.

3. Hot Links, and Traffic Links.

Click the link to test the URL. For those expired links, you can purchase (or trade credits for) blocks of views, and then apply it to an existing link.

4. Downline Builder

There are two important things here: You get to define 3 of YOUR websites, and you get the opportunity to fill in YOUR REFERRAL ID for that site after you join. New sites are being added all the time, so you should check back, and update the Downline Builder so YOUR REFERRALS can join using YOUR REFERRAL LINK.

5. Review your advertising strategy.

a). Your objective on safelists and traffic exchanges should be to BUILD YOUR LIST not to “sell stuff”. Once they are on your list, then you periodically make offers, but NURTURE your list, provide them with INFORMATION and VALUE and don’t beat them to death with promotion after promotion.
b). Banner Ads ARE AN EFFECTIVE MEDIUM!
c). This is a SURF SITE in addition to a Safelist. You can define YOUR surf ads and get great point rewards for reviewing Surf Sites posted by other members.
d). Admin Ads are rewarded with high point values!
e). Promote the One Time Offers and Login Offers to your downline, and externally. Why?

  • You get rewards for getting referrals to sign up here,
  • points EVERY TIME THEY LOG IN,
  • points for every ad they surf or click, and
  • COMMISSIONS for every purchase made by your downline.
    You can send to your downline ONCE A WEEK
  • Use your SPLASH PAGES on safelists and text exchanges – they load faster. You have THREE SECONDS before the average surfer gets distracted. Using a slow-loading page may lose the opportunity.

f). Encourage your downlines to:

  • Log in DAILY (you get points)
  • Click the Daily Bonus and Login Bonus
  • SURF (you get points)
  • READ ADS FOR CREDIT (you get points)
  • POST ADS HERE (you get points when they trade points for ads)
  • Purchase Ads Here (you get COMMISSIONS from the sale)
  • PURCHASE NETWORK ADS ($$)

WHY? This gets YOU credits for any credits earned by your downline, and COMMISSIONS from upgrades and the sale of ads purchased by your downline!

g). For every 10 ads you place for other projects on this and other safelists an traffic exchanges, you should be promoting GiantProfitAds so you can BUILD YOUR DOWNLINE THROUGH REFERRALS.

  • You are rewarded HANDSOMELY for referrals that upgrade to be paid members.
  • It is an opportunity to build your list
  • It is an opportunity to earn CASH for any upgrades or ad purchases by your referrals

There are some very important websites to join (for free) an use as a reference for both TAE and TE systems.  The Hoopla family of sites provides RANKINGS, as determined by their extensive testing, on a weekly basis.  If you are going to join any safelist or traffic exchange, check these sites for the highest ranked sites.

Get Free Referrals

Don’t forget to join the sites in the Downline Builders (also called Referral Builders).  Whenever you join a new TAE or TE, save the AFFILIATE LINKS in a Notepad or Excel file.  For every site you join, reference this list, and if you are already a member of sites on the Downline Builder list, then update that listing with YOUR affiliate ID or referral ID.
Your Referral Link can be found generally on the Tools and Stats, Affiliate, Resources, etc. section of the site you just joined. 

Everyone who joins UNDER YOU (meaning YOUR referrals) is presented with this list POPULATED WITH YOUR REFERRAL LINK INFORMATION.  So, if they JOIN any of the programs in which you are an affiliate, they become YOUR REFERRAL in THAT program too!  In many programs, you are rewarded (points, cash or other reward) and can collect commissions if your referrals upgrade or make purchases (of traffic packs, etc).  THIS IS PURE AND SIMPLE RESIDUAL or PASSIVE INCOME!

When asked for a REFERRAL LINK, copy and paste the complete URL of your Referral Link, including http://
For example, I would enter the full URL if my REFERRAL LINK for Mad-Cow-Ads is

Reseller Fees and License

If there is a RESELLER FEE or AFFILIATE FEE for any particular program that grants you permission and license to market that product, only join IF YOU INTEND TO ACTIVELY MARKET THAT PROGRAM.  You always have the option to join the affiliate program later.

Featured Ad Type – Solo Footer Ads

This week I would like to talk about the Solo Footer Ads.

Solo Footer Ads are displayed at the bottom of every solo email sent out. Right under the credit link in bold print. These ads are rotated randomly until they gets 100 clicks. When a member clicks on one of these links, they will be taken to your website.

Solo Footer Ads consist of a title and two line of description that are limited to 50 characters each. The last box is where you add your link, which will hyperlink to your title. Be sure to write a title that will grab the attention of the email reader. Again, I like to use ###Hash Tags### for the title to draw attention to the link. 

TIP: When I am making new Solo Footer Ads, I like to open a blank note pad and type 50 capital X’s across the top to make sure the title and description lines are under the 50 character limit. Double check your footer ad before you submit because it cannot be edited once submitted.

GiantProfitAds Video Tour

I keep trying to emphasize that at GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads, we are an ADVERTISING COMMUNITY.

No Click, No Surfing Options
Just in case you have not seen the original ad, if you are simply tired of surfing, or clicking for points, and want an allocation of ads assigned either to your account every month, or on demand, I have set up an On Demand and a Subscription Ad program.  No more clicking, except for the obligatory California Surfer Solos ads, that will require surfing 5 or 6  ads each day you log on to the Advertise Here section.
These prices are cheaper than you could get if you bought them individually from ADVERTISE HERE.   While there are advantages to upgrading to paid memberships JV and SJV (like the INCREDIBLE Referral rewards), but these buying options allow free Pro members to participate in a No Clicking for Points program to get a great deal on ads without having to commit to an upgraded membership fee.  (Pro members have only limited ability to trade points for ads).
Changes to the Navigation Menu
To be sure you get the most out of your GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads memberships, there are some changes you might have seen in the Navigation Menu on the left.  I created this video to expain the changes.
In summary:
  • There are some low-cost, non-safelist ad options for Text Ads, Banners, and Classified Ads on WomVegas.   Why WomVegas?  There are over 47,000 users per day logging on to WomVegas, and so many more anonymous visitors to see your ads.  This is on the REAL INTERNET and not some protected double-optin safelist where people are only interested in clicking for points or worse yet, point harvesting with automated tools.  People are actually LOOKING AT YOUR ADS.   There are so many different options to promote YOUR ads including promotion using Social Media like Twitter.
  • Second Chance OTO.  Well, in this case, it is the offer that got away.  That’s right.  The Meaning of OTO is ONE TIME OFFER, and if you pass, it is never offered again (at least with the software that powers GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads).  I always found it ridiculous to commit to something before you have even been able to see what features and functions are available, and given a chance to “test the waters”  before committing to anything additional.
  • One Year SJV BOGO.  You’ve all seen Buy One Get One offers.  Well, this is one also.  A tremendous savings when you sign up for an SJV membership upgrade at GiantProfitAds, and also get an SJV membership at Mad-Cow-Ads.  Why would you want to do that?  For one reason, the GENEROUS REFERRAL BONUSES that the SJV member has.  You can recruit your referrals to GiantProfitAds, and then get them to sign up for a membership at Mad-Cow-Ads.  You get MONSTER referral bonus points, a percentage of the points each of YOUR REFERRALS earn, and a percentage of MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES, OTO PURCHASES, LOGIN OFFER PURCHASES, and AD PURCHASES.  That’s right.  CASH in your PayPal account!
  • Purchase Current Offer.  This is simply giving you a chance to purchase the offer you saw at login.  Again, I think it is foolish to make a purchase before you have an opportunity to really examine the offer and figure out that it is a good deal or not.  When you are logging in, all you want to do it get past these offers so you don’t lose focus on WHY you logged in: to place ads.
  • Full Page Login Ads.  No better way to get your promotion in front of EVERY MEMBER that logs in.  Your offer hits them right up front.  This is a full page HTML ad, and is not limited to the 600×300 banner you get in a regular Login Ad.
  • Buy Daily Bonus.  If you are not clicking on the daily bonus, shame on you.  That is FREE POINTS – between 2000-5000 points, for viewing a single ad!  Why not put YOUR offer in front of people, and encourage YOUR REFERRALS to be sure they click the DAILY BONUS so you get YOUR AD in front of them when they go to collect those FREE points!
  • Twice Confirmed Traffic.  I mention occasionally that I share my secrets with the membership, and Twice Confirmed Traffic is one of them.  I have been an upgraded subscriber for quite a while, and I get CONSISTENTLY HIGH QUALITY TRAFFIC from this one program.
  • The Traffic Guru.  Again, this is one of my go-to, always high in the rankings, traffic sources.  David Smith (the genius behind AFF Super Networks and Admin For Free sites such as GiantProfitAds and Mad-Cow-Ads) and his team will deliver 4000 clicks for each ad.
Did You Know:  GiantProfitAds is a SURF SITE?
I want to point out that GiantProfitAds is not only a Safelist, but it is also a Surf Site.  I am shocked that this feature is NOT BEING USED.  It is easy.   It is effective.  And a way to EARN HUGE POINT REWARDS QUICKLY.  And even  better – you get to place YOUR OWN SURF ADS.  Start by entering your ads into  My Surf Pages, then view all offers by going into SURF NOW.  START NOW!  What better way to spend the huge number of points you get from REFERRALS?
Other Missed Opportunities
Several other features that are simply not  being used:  Downline Builder and Protect Your Links
  • Downline Builder.  Check out the programs listed.  These include the programs entered by YOUR SPONSOR.  If you have not joined them, click on the link and join those programs.  Many times, these have great OTO’s or promo codes that give you great rewards.  Enter YOUR referral ID’s after you have signed up, and YOUR REFERRALS will be shown YOUR Downline Builder sites!  No easier way to get referrals!
  • Protect Your Links.  There are unscrupulous scoundrels out there that  will strip your referral ID from a sale and substitute their own to STEAL YOUR SALES, and you don’t even know it is happening.  By using a LINK CLOAKER, they can no longer steal your sales.  In addition it gives YOU the ability to track your ads, and also provides EFFORTLESS RECRUITING.  YES.  By using this link cloaker, a link to YOUR REFERRAL ID is displayed in the header bar with your ad!
  • Free eCourses.  See the link on the Nav menu that takes you to a complete listing of both free and low-cost eCourses, ebooks, and videos.  If I must charge (per the license when I purchased these materials, it may not allow me to sell it below a certain price), I guarantee it is the lowest allowable fee.

Review these simple steps to get
the most out of your membership

1)  Set-Up Your Surf Pages: 
Go to My Surf Pages and Add Your Sites to the Traffic Exchange, so you can promote your sites to other members as they surf.

What to Promote Where

 
I’ve said this many times:  
 
On a safelist DO NOT PROMOTE PRODUCTS TO SELL.  
 
If I were just interested in grabbing your money, I would be happy to sell you the advertising like banners, buttons, solo ads, traffic links, hot links, and login ads, BUT that is NOT in the best interest of our MEMBERS, including YOU!
 
GiantProfitAds is an ADVERTISING COMMUNITY.  Our goal is to provide reasonably priced advertising media with an extended reach so YOU get the most for your advertising dollar.
 
In return, you should recognize that the platform (the safelist), the downline builders and referral tools, the link cloaker, and many other features are provided for you FREE OF CHARGE.  But they are NOT FREE.
 
As the owner, I would expect that the membership recognizes the VALUE of the features, facilities, and advertising options, and patronizes this advertising community by PAYING MEMBERSHIP FEES, PURCHASING PREMIUM ADVERTISING, and making an honest effort to view and purchase the ads being shown here.  This is not so I can buy a new car or have pocket money for the casinos.  EVERY CENT GOES BACK INTO THIS BUSINESS to provide YOU with all of these programs.

Q. What do you sell on safelists and traffic exchanges?
 
 A. Your only goal for publishing ads on a TAE or TE should be to BUILD YOUR LIST.  How do you do that? GET REFERRALS.
 
When I say REFERRALS, I mean that whatever you promote should be a LANDING PAGE or SQUEEZE PAGE with the purpose of CAPTURING the name and email address of the viewer, and then having that viewer OPT-IN so they are actually subscribers to your list(s).  
 
So let me amend my first statement…
