Martin has distributed a very nice, free course on how to use, customize, and market PLR. Use the sources below to obtain content, and rebranding.
How I Use Rebranded PLR in My Own Business.
Many of the ebooks I use as lead magnets, or distribute as bonuses have been through some degree of “rebranding”. (Assuming I have appropriate permissions).
- For PLR with editable source documents, I create a new version, and make modifications and format with Google DOCS
- For PLR in PDF format, I edit with a PDF editor. This gives me less control over formatting, but I can delete whole or partial pages, delete or overwrite text, add graphics and overwrite links.
- I add a “forward”, review or annotations.
- I put my own contact information in the footer
- I add an “About Me” page
- I re-paginate with logical page breaks for readability
- I utilize the “almost blank spaces” at the end of a page by posting banners for topic-appropriate affiliate programs
- If there embedded links for my affiliate products, I overwrite the links with my own affiliate URLs.
- I ensure product ads or links are clickable.
- I save and distribute as a PDF. In Google DOCS, this is done with the Export function.
