Q. So, what can this do for you?
A. Organic Traffic. This is traffic generated to your website through queries to the search engines.
How to get the most benefit, you should employ all THREE types of traffic:
- Passive: Banners, text ads, traffic exchanges, rotators
- Active: credit mail, solo ads
- Organic: search engines
Other ways to generate organic traffic: a Blog
Everybody should have a blog. I started posting my solo ads to a “current-promotions” category. Not only do I post my solo ad copy but there are no restrictions for including other URLs on your blog post. I always include a “rotator link” for a free ebook, video, or ecourse below my signature line. This generates additional signups, builds my list, and expands the breadth of my current subscribers.
With a blog, I have a widget defined as a signup form for my most popular newsletter: Home Business Tips. 400 days of home business tips. Every email has a promo link in the signature line.
My blog also has widgets for my favorite safelists and programs.
I use the SEO Optimizer Pro tools to get my blog website indexed. Every time I post to my blog, a “pinger” triggers the web crawlers to re-index.
