Founded in 1998, ClickBank provides digital content – e-books, software, memberships and subscriptions – to consumers around the world through an expanding network of product vendors and affiliate Internet marketers. The ClickBank network includes more than 100,000 active affiliates and over 12,000 vendors of tens of thousands of unique digital products.

This is not a foreign owned marketplace like the new rages on social media.  ClickBank is a privately held company with offices in Broomfield, Colo., and Boise, Idaho.

What am I doing with Clickbank?

I’ve been an affiliate with Clickbank for about 10 years, and promoted some related niche products aligned with my various niche websites.   Here are some ways I promoted CB products RELATED to my primary businesses at the time.

For instance, I had a “foodie” blog, and promoted several Clickbank informational and training products associated with food prep, wine pairing, nutrition, and presentation, and corollary products to the weight loss niche.

I also had a healthy lifestyle blog connected to a line of exercise equipment. I found many popular subscription courses on CB related to exercise, specifically yoga and Pilates.

I’m now retired and out of the ecommerce and blogging business per se, with my current blogs acting only as archives for my newsletters, but I do list some chosen CB products on my website and have the full searchable CB catalog in my CB Store

There are many excellent products in the network marketing niche, especially targeted training that is not tied to hyped-up, easy button programs.

TIP:  Unless you are using a list-building program like Clickbank Maximizer*, do not promote products, including CB products on safelists.  Build your list on safelists.  Once you have established a rapport with your subscribers, THEN you can sell products to YOUR LIST.

TIP: Always use a splash page or capture page when promoting Clickbank, Warrior+, or JVZoo products.  Using raw hoplinks has so many issues, even when using URL shorteners or Trackers.
