How I Use Blogs

I established a Newsletter page on my blog at LifeBalanceB2B.com as an archive for THESE newsletters so 1) my subscribers can access previously posted newsletters, and 2) my content is SCANNED and INDEXED by Google and thousands of other search engines.

At one time, I had about 25 niche blogs aligned with product lines in my two 10,000 product e-commerce stores.  It was a full-time job keeping up with merchandising, blog posts, product reviews and SEO.  I didn't have tools like ChatGPT to help with generating unique content.

My wife and I had a very active "Foodie Network" blog for many years.  As an assistant chef and cooking school teacher, she fed me tons of content, and through her connections, we did interviews and chef profiles, foodie travel experiences, and reviews.  This site was a very expensive but popular custom built, commercial blogging platform, not WordPress, with consultant-provided SEO and lots of programming update support.

My blogs were "monetized" with banners and buttons in the margins and footers for my e-commerce sites, cross-promoting to other niche blogs, Related Articles, product rotators, Adsense ads, and YouTube videos in content areas..  

It took lots of work to keep up with the constantly changing SEO rules.  I did a pretty good job, was driving a fair amount of organic traffic to my blogs and e-commerce stores until… Google Panda.  Google completely changed EVERYTHING with one overnight search engine software release.  All the other search engines eventually followed suit.  All the organic traffic to my sites FLAT-LINED, as did visitors and sales.

This one event left a negative balance in the coffers to start over.

Enter Network Marketing stage left… 

I had my experiences, and failures, with mentors who were so-called Gurus, who taught me Network Marketing, the version that made THEM money.

Why So Many Safelists?

I frequently mention Dave Mosher's safelists, mainly because I have not only been friends with Dave for many years, but he has also been my sponsor, business associate, and colleague.  I admin, approving ads, over 200 of his sites every day, so I KNOW these sites, I KNOW his systems, and I KNOW the ads being posted.

VITAL Tip # 1: Post to the Safelist and Exchanges that I RECOMMEND or use your own resources but do POST!

• I broadcast them to my subscribers.
• I highlight them in THIS NEWSLETTER, and
• I promote them myself. 
• Many of the most effective recommended sites can be found on my website

You don't have to just use those.  Generate your own trusted sources, SPLIT TEST and ANALYZE them, and expand your marketing reach.

VITAL Tip # 2: Use UNIQUE Subject Lines and Ad Copy

You only have 7 seconds to make an impression so that someone will OPEN your email, so UNIQUE, HIGH IMPACT SUBJECT LINES are crucial. 

• Do NOT make earnings promises or guarantees
• Do NOT include dollar signs, repeated exclamatory symbols, emojis, or personalizations
• Limit the use of ALL CAPS
• Exclude "spam words" .   See article 100 Spam Trigger Words to avoid in 2024

I use ChatGPT to suggest some subject lines and ad copy then I tailor them, and make sure they follow anti-spam guidelines

With ad copy,

• shorter is better, but not terse.
• Tell, don't sell
• OWN it, how YOU USE product or service, YOUR results
• Do NOT make earnings promises or guarantees
• Do not use personalizations
• Do NOT include URLs in safelist ad body EXCEPT where required (ie. ViralURL, ViralHosts, ViralPLR, etc.)
• Ad copy should direct to a page that ALWAYS CAPTURES THE LEAD ON YOUR LIST! 
  • DO NOT post just affiliate URLs unless it has a list management system YOU control, where YOU can send messages and broadcasts
  • Suggestions:  Automatic Builder, Nexus Snap, BuildABizOnline, LeadsLeap,  GVO/GotBackup, WorldProfit
  • I recommend only DOUBLE OPT-IN to ensure verified emails from your leads.

VITAL TIP # 3: Use an Ad Tracker Tool.

To be an effective marketer means KNOWING EXACTLY where you are getting your best response. Response can be measured by clicks. When you use the tools we recommend you can use an Ad Tracker Tool to see which advertising sources are producing clicks. Clicks are actual PEOPLE, clicking on your ad to see it. 

Below is VERY important data about Ad Trackers and what kinds of click numbers you need to see conversion to sales!

It is THE MOST IMPORTANT NUMBER YOU NEED TO REMEMBER!

When you analyze your Ad Tracker Data you want to set your goal at 200 clicks per DAY.

• This is the average number of clicks you want EVERY DAY to see a conversion to sales.
   
• If your Ad Tracker shows you are getting 50 clicks per day, that is not enough.
   
• If you are getting 200 clicks in a week that is not enough.
   
• 200 clicks on average PER DAY is your goal.
   
• Don't stop there.  When you reach 200, you are probably doing it right.  Set your new goal at 300, 400, 500, etc.
  • Find new advertising sources.  Advertising Blowout,  My Top 10
     
  • Promote using ACTIVE TRAFFIC like Credit Mails, Solos, Supersolos.  Don't bother with banners, buttons, textlinks, or surf sites.
     
  • Expand your reach with safelist upgrades that allow more frequent and more members for your mailings

What You Need To Know About Online Advertising

Here is a basic summary of what you need to know about online advertising.

1) Be aware of the difference between VIEWS and HITS. Hits usually refer to someone, a person actually CLICKING on your ad. Some sites promise to deliver hits, when really they are providing only views of your ad. This means no one actually clicks on the ad, your ad just appears somewhere lost on a page.

2) Some sites use a computer-generated script that has a computer CLICK on ads meaning you think you are getting hits, but no human has actually seen your ad. 

3) Some sites pay people a very small amount of money to complete forms. These people have no interest in purchasing and are usually not good leads.  While they often spoof domains, ignore anything from .ru, .in, .cz

4) Some sites deliver leads to you but the leads are names of people from countries that do not have the ability to make secure verified purchases.  

5) If you see many clicks in a row in your Ad Tracker statistics from the same source, it is a bot.  They do not count.

6) There is a difference between a LEAD, a PROSPECT, and a SUBSCRIBER. 

• A LEAD is someone with or without interest
   
• A TARGETED VERIFIED LEAD like those offered by LeadPower are good leads and have a high probability of conversion
   
• a PROSPECT has interest, has opened your email, and has clicked your link
   
• a SUBSCRIBER signs up, verifies their email, and is now ON YOUR LIST.
   
• a CUSTOMER is getting ahead of yourself.  You get CUSTOMERS (make SALES) after developing a RAPPORT with your SUBSCRIBERS, and EARNING KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST.  People BUY from marketers THEY TRUST.

Excited, Nervous, Animosity about New Tools and Scripts – It Was GREAT

Any time you start something new, you are likely to have butterflies, but step one is JUST DO IT!  

I mentioned that I signed up as a "monitor" in Worldprofit's Live Business Center.  A MONITOR is a Worldprofit Silver or PlatinumVIP member who volunteers to help members and Associates, tells them about Worldprofit products and services, and helps our members CLOSE SALES.

• Treat this LIKE A BUSINESS.  It requires INVESTMENT of TIME, MONEY, and PERSEVERANCE.
   
• Be a PRODUCT OF THE PRODUCT.

Follow-up – Do You Know Your Pay Days?

TODAY, the 15th, IS PAYDAY FOR WORLDPROFIT.

Worldprofit pays on the 15th of the month for all sales commissions and carryovers for the previous month.  If the total amount payable for any commissions and bonuses are under $50, payouts are held, but these funds can be used for purchase of products or services.

Common Terms Used at Worldprofit

I write a lot about Worldprofit so have compiled a list of common terms and explanations to help you better understand the Worldprofit Home Business System.  

Associate Member:  An Associate Member is someone who has signed up to get a free Worldprofit Associate Member account. 

As an Associate Member they can view a Video Overview of the Silver membership, preview Worldprofit services, and are a prospect for the purchase of a Silver or Platinum VIP Membership Package. 

If an Associate signs up under me (any paid member) through one of my ads or at my website I will get a notice that they have done so and their details will be automatically entered into my Prospect Manager.   I can contact them individually via email or phone, I can send them broadcasts, and each Associate receives a newsletter sent to them on my behalf every day.

Associate Members do not get the same level of commission or access to services and support as do Worldprofit dealers.  Associate Members earn 5% commission for the referral of sales to Worldprofit inc. 

Associates are EXTREMELY VALUABLE as they are potential buyers for ANY of Worldprofit's services AND any of MY OWN products, services and opportunities. 

NOTE: Members do not receive commission for signing up free Associate members.

Dealer:  A Worldprofit dealer is a reseller for Worldprofit and in most cases has purchased a Silver or a Platinum Package. 
 

Landing Pages:  Landing pages are pages designed to load quickly and capture lead information. They are especially effective in Safelists and Traffic Exchanges.  Worldprofit has created and tested hundreds of landing pages and these are available free to our Silver and Platinum VIP Members.  New Landing Pages are added regularly as they are tested for results.

Upgraded members have 40 Landing Page templates that can be customized and edited.  Unlimited landing pages can be created.
 
There are dozens of Ad Examples that are provided for paid members with pre-written ads with suggested subject line, ad copy, and a Done-For-You landing page coded with your Member ID, so signups and sales are credited to them.

The Associate member area contains a subset of those Ad Examples, that have pre-written ads with suggested subject line, ad copy, and a Done-For-You landing page coded with your Associate ID so sales are credited to them.  Associates earn 5% commission on sales.

Prospect Manager:  The Silver and Platinum packages both include the Prospect Management software.  This software allows you to track your prospects, email your prospects, broadcast to your prospects, follow up with your prospects and organize them into groups.   

This is effectively your LIST MANAGER, like an autoresponder but without the automated message streams because your ASSOCIATES are automatically sent the Worldprofit Associate Newsletter every day they remain an Associate, on your behalf.  This newsletter promotes Worldprofit products and services FOR YOU so you can focus on doing promotions.

Most of the Worldprofit lead forms incorporated into your site, are designed so that when a form is completed on your site, you get an email with the information, and the lead info is entered automatically into your Prospect manager. 

If you are generating leads for a number of businesses, or programs, not just Worldprofit's, you can also manually enter your leads, then denote the type of lead or program.  

Your Prospect Manager software includes a Prospect Emailer so you can email out an offer or promotion.  We've included some pre-written letters for Worldprofit services, but you can also create and customize your own offers for any other business or offers you wish to mail out. 

Website Management System:  Silver and Platinum VIP packages both include a Website Management System.  This software allows you to edit your webpages, add content, add links, add categories, change your contact info, change your metatags, add other affiliate programs and opportunities to your site. Your Associates have access to your website, and sponsor contact information from their Associate member area pages.

Catch Me in the Live Business Center

I've agreed to start back up as a monitor for Worldprofit's Live Business Center in the next couple days.  Yep, if you happen upon the Live Business Center, you might encounter the real live ME, telling people about Worldprofit, helping people with questions, and HELPING MEMBERS BY CLOSING SALES FOR THEM.

The Live Business Center is a hybrid chatroom.  Participants can SEE and HEAR the Monitor (a Worldprofit member volunteer), but participants can only ask questions and respond by typing into the chatbox.

I had been a monitor for many years, but I had stopped being a monitor first due to scheduling and then health issues.  I have some time now, but I am still working through some issues with my hands – it is hard for me to type with arthritis and neuropathy. 

To reduce my typing issues, I use a "cannot live without it" tool called JitBit Autotext, and also fully utilize built in Windows utilities like Voice to Text, and Windows Multi-Clipboard.

I have found that interacting LIVE with leads and Associates that are brought to the LBC at signup, and when logging in, has been fulfilling, satisfying, and even exciting, although dealing with foreign language and bad typing does provide challenges.

There are so many rewards for doing this also.  First, if I facilitate a SALE of a Silver or PlatinumVIP upgrade for ANOTHER MEMBER, I get both a revenue bump of $5, $10 for a 1 year sign-up, but more importantly, I get 20 Associates and 20 Exclusive Leads! 

When I previously served as monitor several years ago, I got TONS of Associates.  Any time a lead signed up to be an Associate without a sponsor (like when responding to Worldprofit-sponsored ads or ads where the sponsor has left Worldprofit), that Associate is placed UNDER ME.  Being a Monitor was the biggest major contributor to the large number of Associates currently subscribed under me.

With Worldprofit, Associates are IMPORTANT because you can broadcast to them en masse daily without an autoresponder.  Plus, Worldprofit sends a newsletter to Associates on my behalf every day, that informs and instructs, but also drives sales FOR ME.

The archive goes back to 2017 so there you are likely to find products for any niche on any topic.

• Get Educated Yourself:  eBooks cover a plethora of topics, in just about any niche.  Many PLR items are complete training courses.  Great resources for getting up to speed on new technologies.
   
• Educate and Keep Subscribers:  You must build RAPPORT with your subscribers and KEEP THEM INTERESTED.  Find and use PLR to help you do this.
   
• Get New Ideas:  I read at least 1-2 PLR ebooks per week because I get fresh ideas, and observe different techniques that I could apply to my own marketing.
   
• Get Fresh Content:  If permissions allow, you can rebrand, or extract all or portions of PLR copy as content for broadcasts, articles for blogs, autoresponder messages, video scripts, etc.
  • Rewrite in your own "voice" and style
  • Use ChatGPT to rewrite content to "make it your own"
     
• Use as Lead Magnets: eBooks and courses are great for attracting leads.  Provide SOMETHING OF VALUE to your LEADS for them to download to attract signups to your list.
   
• Use as Bonuses:  Once a lead signs up, with double-opt-in systems, they do not become SUBSCRIBERS until they verify their email.  I've found that offering a bonus has significantly increased my conversion rates by doing 2 simple things
  • Once they enter their name and email into your HTML form, I set up the campaign to send a verification request with the title:

    "Please verify your email to Collect Your Bonuses"
     

  • Once they verify their email, I redirect them to a ThankYou/Bonus Page, where I provide a link to the product or service and one or more PLR products, traffic sources, or promo codes as bonuses that are SOMETHING OF VALUE to your Subscribers.

• Rebranding. I have rebranded dozens of ebooks, not because I've modified the content, but because rebranding is a way to ADD YOUR OWN affiliate links, advertisements, and contact information.
  • I use a rebranding tool if available
     
  • If source is provided in MS Word, I edit with Google Docs (free with Gmail) then save my modified source to Google Drive (also free with Gmail), and export to PDF.
     
  • I use a PDF editor if source is not available
     
  • If topic appropriate, I put my main affiliate link in the footer. 
     
  • If large blank spaces at the end of a page, I might place one or more banners, or a large 600×300 login ad graphic with affiliate links. 
     
  • I add an About Me page with a business quality picture, short description of my business or business interests, my website URL, Youtube Channels, Business Email, and optional phone number or Skype address.
     
• Resell Them:  I personally have offered literally HUNDREDS of PLR for sale, but have sold so very few. People can get them for free (like here).
  • I have found more value giving quality products away for FREE because the value of ONE SUBSCRIBER is worth far more than the meager commission I would get from selling an ebook.
